DIY Wedding Favors

When it comes to wedding favors, I always prefer a gift that makes a statement about the bride and groom and the theme of your wedding. When planning my own wedding, I knew that we needed something tasty! We also wanted a favor that said a little  about us and our style. If you know me or my husband you know that camping and summer bonfires are something we live for. We chose to do S’Mores on a stick! I loved how these little treats tied into our late summer wedding; people were talking about them forever. To save time (and to support another small business) we ordered them from Etsy. These only cost us about a dollar a piece! You can get yours here. We ordered the tags off of Etsy as well. Those can be found here. Best part, you get to keep the stamp for your wedding day memory collection! We assembled them ourselves with a rustic twine and everyone LOVED them.

There were a few other DIY wedding favors that caught my eye while planning my own wedding. The first one was this yummy potted banana bread! I am a sucker for any type of tasty treat given to guests who attend your big day, and how cute are these mini pots! I came across this idea on another wedding blog that I shamelessly stalk, Style Me Pretty. You can find the directions on this sinfully magnificent wedding favor here.

Maybe a tasty treat is just not your style. A lot of brides want something that the guests can hang onto a bit longer. Maybe you are looking for something eco-friendly? These simple homemade soy candles will have your guests thinking about your big day while they light up their home with this unique touch! Found on Ruffled, you can find the instructions on these beuts here!

Whatever you choose to give you guests as thanks, make it yours. Personalize it with just your names or make it an even bigger statement of who you are, like your eco-friendly lifestyle! Just be unique and be inspired!

Love,

Amanda
